I have faced many issues in the past, especially removing an application from Windows, where most of the time, some registry keys are left, and they prevent the reinstallation of the same program again. This is a tedious job to search through the Windows registry keys and remove them one by one.
I remember in the past we used RevoUninstaller/IObit and some third-party softwares to remove an application completely from Windows.
Recently, I found that Microsoft has released a tool that address issues related to uninstall and install programs. The Tool can be downloaded from Microsoft. More details are available on the site. This is a powerful and easy-to-use tool, and it has more capabilities to remove corrupted registry entries and remove some programs even not listed in the Windows Programs & Features.
As per the Microsoft, this tool is capable of.
- Corrupt registry keys on 64-bit operating systems.
- Corrupt registry keys that control the update data.
- Prevent new programs from being installed.
- Prevent existing programs from being completely uninstalled or updated.
- Block you from uninstalling a program through Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features) in Control Panel.

I believe this tool would be useful. Big Kudos to Microsoft for releasing this.
Thanks for reading.
